THE DETAILS

Join us at the beautiful Rocky Hill Ranch in Smithville, Texas for the second annual “Du of the Dead” dirty duathlon! Come camp out for the weekend or join us for the day as we have race options for trail runners and mountain bikers alike.  

Choose from these options: 

 - Scary fast timed 3-7-3 duathlon with a 3 mile trail run, 7 mile single track mountain bike ride, and another 3 mile trail run to the finish.  

- Grueling solo 6-hour event where you repeat the trail running and mountain biking to accumulate as many miles as you can in 6-hours.  

- Group 6-hour relay where you and a team of up to six people see how many miles you can tally. (you have to alternate run and bike, but there are no rules as to how much or how little each teammate has to contribute. For example: a trail runner may team up with a cyclist and both can stick to their own sports if they like).   

 Things to know:  You should definitely make it a weekend. Come camp out at the ranch or stay in historic Smithville or Bastrop, Texas.

There will be beer drinking. This is a private ranch, so as long as you drink responsibly public consumption is allowed. Beer will be provided, but you may also bring your own.
